Trek Sugar Land
Trek Sugar Land
Time of Ride:
Saturday ride through Sienna. There are usually 2 or 3 groups, A (21+mph), B (18-20mph), and C (16-19mph). Two rest stops at Shell station and a sprint zone on McKeever. Please download or know the route. Riders are asked to ride the advertised speed ranges for the group they choose and should commit to keeping the group together. C-group does not drop riders. However, there is no D-group for those rolling <16mph. Helmets and lights are required. Be ready at 7:15 am for short safety briefing; roll out 7:30am. Safety first: Please, no surging, no wheel overlapping or half-wheeling, no using tri bars in the group. Please call out hazards, slow roll from stops, be respectful of other riders and vehicles and have fun! What to bring: You should carry a tire repair kit (incl. spare tube, patches, and tire levers, a pump or CO2 inflator), water, snacks, and some basic first aid supplies. Note: Watch for a change in route due to prevailing winds. Ride may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
